The Beacon Train Station is the first train station in Dutchess County NY on the Hudson Metro-North line.
This station because of its location covers commuters on both sides of the Hudson and is on the eastern side of the Newburgh Beacon Bridge.
In recent years many relocated to the area. One reason they settled here, was because of the easy access to New York City where some still works.
