Market update for Red Hook NY home sales in April 2021

Red Hook NY home sales in April 2021 report showed five homes sold, one more than in April 2020.  These homes had a sale price to list price of ninety-seven percent.

An average sale price of $623,980 was recorded for April 2021 compared to $4,438,758 at the same time last year due to a sale of $16,500,000 then.

  This April the median sale price at $ 489,000 was higher than the $465,000 for last April.

Homes sold ranged in price from $425,000 to $ 925,000 and were built between 1957 and 2007. These two to four-bedroom homes had square feet from 1,476 to 3,900 square feet.

The Red Hook homes listed for sales during the month ranged in price from $ 389,000  to $ 1,295,000 and were built between 1880 and 2002  with three to five bedrooms and square feet between 1674 and 4860.

Eleven homes received offers.  These homes built between 1900 and 2007 ranged in price from $299,000 to $879,900 all three and four bedrooms with square feet from 1,008 to 3,200

Seven  homes went under contract, priced from $ 299,000 to $ 2,995,000.  These three to five-bedroom homes were built between 1856 and 2000 with square feet from 1,508 to 4,875.

In the Village of Red Hook, there were three sales, one more than in April 2020.  The sales price to list price came in at 98 percent for these three to four-bedroom homes built between 1935 and 1972.  Also, the homes ranged in size from 1656 square feet to 2158 and were priced between $282,500 and $ 379,900.

 At $315,633 the average sale price was down from the $ 360,550 recorded for April 2020.

The median sale price came in at $284,500.

During the month one property from 1950 was added to the inventory.  (see table above)

Three homes received offers, all three bedrooms built between 1890 and 1955 with square feet from 1498 to 1900. The home ranged in price from $309,000 to $439,000.

There were three homes under contract ranging in price from $225,000 to $429,900.  Built between 1935 and 1972 with two and three bedrooms and square feet from 900 to 1596.
