To get to the Ernest R Lasher Memorial Park boat launch along the Hudson River you must first cross the Amtrak railroad tracks on Anchorage Rd.
This park is very popular with those who enjoy boating and fishing as well as others who want to enjoy views of the Hudson River and the Catskill Mountains.
On several occasions, I have seen people sitting in their cars enjoying lunch while enjoying the views or watching boats including tug-boats go up and down the river.
