Rhinebeck NY August 2021 home sales update
Rhinebeck NY August 2021 home sales market update revealed five sales which were four less than last August. Four of the five homes were million-dollar properties and three sold for more than they were listed for. The sale price to list price came in at 108 percent.
The average sales price came in at $1,417,600 this August compared to $ 1,089,414 at the same time last year.
This August the median sale price of $1,600,000 was much higher than the $ 866,600 recorded for August 2020.
Homes sold ranged in price from $840,000 to $1,910,000, built between 1860 and 2009 with square feet of 3,167 to 4550 with three to six bedrooms.
Days on market at 73 days this August was up from 41 days in August 2020.
The takeaway is that more homes are selling above the list price due to multiple offers, and prices in general, continue to increase.

Four homes were added to the Rhinebeck homes for sale inventory, these ranged from $428,000 to $1,950,000, with three to five bedrooms. The homes were built between 1950 and 2001, with the smallest house only 1714 square feet and the largest 8,610.
Twelve homes received accepted offers ranging in price from $ 195,000 to $ 929,000. These homes were built between 1880 and 1991, with two to four bedrooms and square feet from 1,029 to 3769.
Two homes went on contract, one a two-bedroom house built in 1940 with square feet of 1238 and priced at $475,000. The other was a five-bedroom house built in 1992 with square feet of 5525 and priced at $3,775,000
