Home sales rose for Red Hook NY July 2021 real estate

The Red Hook NY July 2021 real estate update for single-family detached homes at twelve sales was twice that of the same time last year.   A sale price to list price of 101 percent was recorded, and the data showed four of the twelve sales came in higher than the list price.

An average sale price of $466,225 was much higher than the  $347,833 recorded in July 2020.  

The median sale price of $438,500 was also an improvement over the $340,500 for July 2020.

Homes sold ranged in price from $223,000 to $959,000, these were built between 1820 and 2007 with three to four bedrooms and square feet from 1,008 to 3,048.

The average number of days a home was on the market before selling was 69 days compared to 148 last July.

During the month five homes were added to the inventory of Red Hook NY homes for sale,  priced from $375,000 to $1,050,000, and consisted of two and three bedrooms.   The homes had square feet ranging from 935 to 2745 and were built between 1887 and 2020.

There were five offers, these two to six-bedroom homes were built between 1806 and 1998,  with square feet from 1,735 to 4,224. The homes were priced between $375,000 and $1,275,000.

Five homes went under contract, these had three and four bedrooms, with square feet of 1,196 to 4,552, built between 1958 and 2007 priced from $309,900 to $821,000.

 Village of Red Hook NY July 2021 real estate

During the month five single-family homes sold in the Village of Red Hook, two  more than last July.  These homes were priced between $287,000 and $700.000 and had square feet from 1,084 to 5,235, built between 1890 and 1958.

The sale price to list price of these homes was one hundred percent. With three homes selling for more than the list price.
