The Rhinebeck NY real estate March 2017 market report

Reviewing the Rhinebeck NY real estate March 2017 it showed home sales increase by three over same time lsat year when there was a single sale.  The sale price to list price came in at 100 percent.  Homes sold were priced from $399,000 to $735,000, and were built between 1830 and 1990.

Homes listed during the month were priced between $219,000 and  $1,100,000.  These were built between 1750 and 2011.  The homes ranged from a two bedroom 1280 square foot home to a three bedroom 3200 square foot home.

Five homes received offers. The least expensive house was priced at $215,000, which was also the smallest house, having square footage of 729 square feet, and, the most expensive home was priced at $749,999.

There were three sales in the village and this was two less than same time last year.  The sale price to list price came in at 97 percent. All three homes were under 2000 square feet and were built between 1834 and 1959.

From the chart below you will also notice that median price also came in lower than last year.

Two of the three homes new to the market in March were listed for over a million dollars.  Typically, village homes are older and that was the case here.  The homes were built between 1855 and 1900.

Three homes received offers. These were priced between  389,000 and 637,000 and  they had square footage ranging from 1778 to 3420 and were built between 1915 and 2007.

One house went under contract. This was a newer village home built in 2006.
